THOUGHTFUL DESIGN
Whether you create the trend or follow the trend, I feel it's important to be thoughtful when designing a product. To be thoughtful, means that you are thinking about your target customer and their needs. Even if you don't believe everything that your customer believes, the customer and the designer should believe in the product. Ultimately, these products are an extension of them and like the customer, the designer should be represented by a product they are proud of.
